Case studies
Design-partner program
We publish what our customers measure, not what we wish they said.
v3ndor.io is in active customer engagements. Case studies land here as design partners agree to be referenced — every page below is the format we'll publish against, not a placeholder for invented metrics.
Who we work with today
The teams that picked v3ndor.io first.
The shape of our early customers, anonymised. Specific accounts surface in the case studies below as reference agreements are signed.
Mid-market financial services
GLBA Safeguards + NYDFS Part 500 footprint, vendor counts in the low hundreds, three-person GRC team. Came in for SOC 2 evidence handling, stayed for the consolidated risk register.
Post-Series-B SaaS
Pre-public, on the SOC 2 Type II + ISO 27001 dual-track. Vendor inventory growing faster than the GRC team can review. Came in for questionnaire automation, stayed for the vulnerability concentration view.
Regulated healthcare technology
HIPAA covered-entity vendor, in HITRUST CSF preparation. Sub-processor sprawl is the headline pain. Came in for the sub-processor disclosure surface, stayed for the contract renewal tracker.
Internal security teams at enterprises
Single tenant, single product team, vendor counts in the thousands across decentralised business units. Came in for the audit log export to Splunk, stayed for the per-tenant role model.
Design-partner program
A two-way commitment, in writing.
Design partners get more than a discount. They also commit to more than a logo placement.
What design partners get
Roadmap access (we share the next two quarters), monthly product sync, founder-direct support channel, named-engineer pairing during onboarding, and pricing locked at design-partner rate for the first three years.
What design partners commit to
Monthly 30-minute product sync (we listen + write down what hurts), willingness to be a named reference once their security review concludes, and ~60 minutes of feedback per major release.
What we don't ask for
No NPS spam, no quote-by-marketing, no exclusivity clauses, no veto over our roadmap. The product-sync conversation is the input — what we ship is our decision, informed by the conversation, never dictated by it.
Exit terms
30-day notice either direction. Design-partner pricing converts to standard list pricing on exit (no penalty); we keep all the feedback we received and you keep your data export.
Impact framework
What we measure in every case study.
Five axes, each with a BEFORE (the customer's pre-v3ndor.io baseline) and an AFTER (the same measurement at the case- study publication date). Customers review the numbers before the page goes live; nothing publishes without their sign-off.
Time-to-onboard a new vendor
Before · Median hours from request to first risk assessment.
After · Same metric, measured at the case-study cut-off.
Audit-evidence preparation time
Before · Person-hours for the most recent SOC 2 / ISO / framework evidence package.
After · Same package, prepared from inside v3ndor.io.
Questionnaire response cycle time
Before · Median days from inbound questionnaire to delivered response.
After · Same cycle measured against the active questionnaire backlog.
Open-finding remediation SLA hit rate
Before · % of open findings closed within their severity-tier SLA in the prior quarter.
After · Same rate over the most recent two full quarters on v3ndor.io.
KEV / Critical-CVE vendor exposure window
Before · Median days from KEV publication to vendor-side remediation confirmation.
After · Same window measured against the v3ndor.io vulnerability surface.
Vendor inventory accuracy
Before · % of vendors with a current owner + tier + last-review date filled.
After · Same completeness check at the case-study cut-off.
Case-study standards
What we will and won't publish.
The editorial rules that govern every case study we publish here.
Customer reviews + approves
Every number, every quote, every customer-side detail passes through customer-side review. Nothing publishes without an explicit sign-off email on file.
Real customers, real numbers
No fictional 'Acme Corp'. No directionally-true-but-rounded metrics. If a number can't be measured cleanly, the case study omits it rather than approximating.
Attribution we earned
v3ndor.io takes credit for the specific surfaces the customer actually used. Improvements driven by an unrelated program don't get folded into the case study.
Retraction policy
If the customer's circumstances change (acquisition, leadership change, program retirement), the case study can be retracted in 24 hours on request. No archive, no Wayback dispute.
Anonymous when needed
Customers in regulated industries sometimes can't be named publicly. We publish those as anonymised case studies (segment + size + scope) — the methodology stays the same.
No competitor swipes
Case studies describe the problem v3ndor.io solved, not which vendor lost the renewal. We don't run a negative-marketing surface.
Published case studies
No public case studies yet.
Our early customers are still inside their first review cycles. The first case study lands as soon as a design partner's measurement window closes and the editorial review concludes. In the meantime, reference calls with named customers are available on request as part of the procurement conversation.
Procurement teams: ask us during the discovery call. We'll line up a reference call with a customer whose program shape most closely matches yours.
